Devilishly fun.
A short, sex-positive, trashy mixtape from Ashnikko that expands her already well-known sound in more eclectic and hookier territory, riding on crushing beats with her poised and upfront delivery. Paired with lyrics that are just as aggressive, sexually positive, and trashy as hell, justifying her anger towards the guys that will push her down and talk shit about her, And I do like the sex-positive aspect of the lyrics as well. And I do also like to note that even she shows her vulnerability on the back-half of the mixtape, she would end it instead with a bounce-back mid-finger of an ending with Clitoris! The Musical, which is a very wonderful playful touch.
Although I do have problems with this, I wish that Ashnikko would do more with her vocal to intensify the anger that she painted on these songs, and some of the beats can fall off a little bit for me, and I do wish that these songs would get a bit more longer.
Overall, this is a very good mixtape (or ep) from her, expanding and improving what she worked on with hookier songs, crushing instrumentals, and lyrics that are trashy but is wondrously trashy.
And while I can see some guys booing her off because of said lyrics, she's at least having fun, and doing so much better at this mold than her male counterparts that do this but fails spectacularly at all cylinders. Cannot wait how volatile and aggressive she will be in her next projects.
